Cool juxtaposition Roger! It looks as though that gull was in danger of being sucked into a jet! Neat catch indeed.

hehe, i like how the bird is flying against the movement of the planes, but not parallel to them and how the glow of the clouds at the bottom and the grey of the top contradict each other

    Thanks,

Glad you all liked it. This is about to be printed at A4 (close to 10x8) size to see how it prints.

I have concerns that because they were all heading in different directions and the speed that some parts won't be sharp enough.

Very nice composition. Love the way the fluffy clouds at the bottom are seperated by blue skies from the upper grey clouds. It's also great how the planes look like they're going in to that gap. And of coarse the trails have a nice angle and pattern to them. The gull is a nice touch! good job.

If you are sharpening be careful that the noise present already in the sky doesn't become noticeable in the print.

    Leels,

Yep made a call to the big man and he arranged it all for me. What a guy

GB - Never thought of it like that - but yes I see what you mean.

Ronnoco - There is very little noise in the full version. most of the noise is artifacts from the conversion to WEB. I'm looking at the 10x8 to check and yep it looks good.

I sent it to the Red Arrows - you never know they may put it up on their web site.

    Thanks

    Roger
