    Temple Church

Hi all .. today I went off to photograph the Temple Church in London (famous to everyone who had read/seen The DaVinci Code - it's the church with the effigies of the Templar knights on the floor). Unfortunately the church was closed for a couple of days for renovation, but I prowled around a little and got this image just off the square in which the church sits.

As always, any comments are appreciated.

    Cheers
    Mike

I like the subject but feel it is cropped a bit to tight. I might also clone out the two black spots on the column. I like the addition of the gentleman in the center. Overall well done. It has great balance and exposure. I would love to see a night shot of this if you have the chance.

    Re: Temple Church

Hi Greg - thanks for commenting. The crop bothered me too - brickwork started just above the lettering which is why I cropped it so tight. However, I have cloned a little more paintwork above and also cloned out the dark spots on the pillar. (I had already cloned out someone lurking in the shadows on the left). I think it's better.

    Thanks
    Mike

I think I would prefer if the human interest was somewhere else in the frame, but not dead centre. Otherwise it's a nice shot.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
