    TempeTownLake1

    here's a few new buildings by tempe town lake.

    ps. not sure why, but it turned quite a bit darker once it posted on here.

    I wouldn't touch a thing. If this had a better place for the picture besides a white web page the colors would really pop. I can see this in a travel brochure, on the cover even. The mountain in the back, reflections in the water, beautiful shot.

    Nice shot..what aperture did you shoot...I would try a smaller aperture , longer exposure..might eliminate some of the glow off the lights ..get you a little star effect. And if you could move to the left and get that mountain peak in between the buildings..might be nice also. Good composition!

    thanks for the kind words.
    i shot f/5 at 13 seconds with 100 iso. next time im there i will try what you said to try to get rid of some of the extra glowiness.

    i really like the glow from the lights, bridge one is cooler!

    Oh yes, the bridge is nice plus I like the little extra water and reflections in the foreground.

    You might try bump the ISO up to 400 to cut down on the exposure time and perhaps get a slightly sharper image. I assume you are locking up your mirror.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    oh yes, i forgot about the mirror lock. i was just using the 2 second timer to keep it steady. thanks.
