    Teepee

Did you know that teepees are made with 13 poles arranged in a circle, one for each of the full moons of the year?

I did not know that, but very interesting. The colors on the teepee are wonderfully vibrant. And how did you get that surreal texture/coloring in the clouds? Nice composition!

    Re: Teepee

I really like this one! its a great composition and the teepee takes up just hte right amount of the frame. the one complaint i have against it is the blown out detail in teh sky. I would like to see a nice blue sky with detailed clouds in it, this isnt doing it for me.

How much proccessing are you doing on these by the way? it seems that every picture you put up is real butchered. this one as are many of the ones you put up are way oversharpened. I dont know if its a processing issue or a camera issue. maybe its time to try SLR, I honestly think that kodaks holding you back on your technical qualities. naturally SLR isnt going to help you frame a picture, but it can help give you exposure latitude and a more accurate sharpness with less noise.

I just burned in the sky a little. I don't think this is oversharpened. Don't forget, it's reduced from 5 meg to a file small enought to upload here. I can't afford an SLR.

A good square composition. Very dramatic sky.

I actually like the sky in this one. True that it's not as the eye would see it, but it has its own surreal effect, especially with the bit of grain in there.
