    The Teddy Bear Series Begins

One of you got me actually thinking of a bunch of different ideas as far as different poses and what not i can do with this beanie baby teddy bear - i'll be posting up different pictures on occasion - i've one other up already, which i need to re-shoot, "de-orange" and fill with more light on the edges, but heres a new one with my phone. Critique is apreciated

Re: The Teddy Bear Series Begins

Almost.. The idea is sound but with this shot, the color difference between the teddy bear and the cell phone, not to mention the two contrasting so much, seems to make it seem out of place. More of a theme is needed - why would a teddy bear use such devices, you might seek to answer. Perhaps arranging the teddy to recreate some famous story might work, where the technology is used to bring it to the 21st century? Who knows (not me ).

Also, the technical execution isn't your best here - the background is distracting or at least nonsupporting of the subject, and the depth of field is too shallow. The lighting also seems pretty artificial in this one.

Sorry to be a bit negative, but, it's Tuesday, a long ways from the weekend (chuckle)

I'd like to see more even light, a better background, and that tag removed from it ear.
Don't quit as you could have something going here.

Frog, that tag bothers me as well - but it'd decrease its value (lol)

Thanks for the suggestions. Im going to brainstorm on some ideas and perhaps props, make some backdrops - and the lighting is just your typical bedroom bulbs.. besides my flash - but i'll be posting up more really soon, ,

thanks again for the critique, im putting it to good use
