    Teddy Bear Cove

I finally got out on a nice day to explore this little cove that I haven't been to before, just outside town. It's a beautiful park. I think I got some good shots too, let me know what you think.

For the madronnas, I like the second shot best as that top left tree branch angles bother me in the first. I love madronnas and we don't have many down here in Wilkeson.

Yeah, that one branch is a bit annoying, and I like how the second shot has the trees on the left side too. We don't have many up here either, but I found them at the cove. I also got this shot, a bit zoomed in from the first.

Very nice I like the top two quite a bit, nice color. Two me in the two sea? photos the dead wood looks too arranged, though they may not be. I thought the layout/positioning of the deadwood and elements in the frame was not quite right either, at least it doesn't work for me. Attractive stuff though, neat looking wood and shore color, clear water etc.

I like the railroad tracks quite a bit, I thought it looked a bit blown in the upper right but probably the price that was paid to get the nice exposure right on the tracks etc, again real nice color there too I thought, and good positioning of the tracks in the frame.
    but then...what do I know

Thanks for the comments. The beach shots are actually two of my favorites, and were not arranged. I just stood there and took each shot, tilted the camera a bit on the overview shot to change the angle and see more. The one with the stairs does look 'too perfect' in a way as someone else told me, but it's natural, and I'm happy with it. I like the tracks too, but for me the top part with the sky, etc., gets to be too plain. I wish a train was coming in the distance around the bend. I'm pretty happy with these shots overall, though.

I like how you can see how clear the water looks in that second to last one. I also like the train tracks one. The first two are good too though.

This would be a great place for B&W and probably for a misty morning sort of image. I think the lighting is too even in the first couple of shots but they are the ones that intrigue me the most.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I may try B/W sometime on these photos, or go back and do more. I also think that mist or fog would look very interesting, but may not work in the morning as the sun would not be giving any direct light beacuse a big hill is in the way until later in the day. I'll keep it in mind though, for if I ever have a foggy morning free to go out.
