Tattooed Chick, Part 2 [pics attached]

I posted a pair of these a few days ago but I wanted to add these to the mix. I mentioned the model is really happy with all of these so I wanted to get a few more of them posted in the hopes I can get some relevant advice. Besides the issues in regards to my scanner (dark and soft images), what advice do you have for improving my portrait and candid shots? Any help is appreciated. Shot on Delta 400.

Re: Tattooed Chick, Part 2 [pics attached]

The first two images you posted of this model are still the strongest. These have some distracting elements which don't compliment your model nearly as much.

In the first I like the repeated shapes in her chin, tattoo and bustier. But since her bustier is so busy, even though it is soft and in the background, it still keeps bringing my eyes straight there. It's cumpulsive; somehow even though the obvious focus of this shot are her eyes I can't stop looking at her bust. Her position though edgy and avante garde is disorienting as my next point of eye rest is her chin, still not the best feature of this picture. I have to force my eyes very far down to get to the point of the shot.

In the second, the crop seems too tight. Her eyebrow has been cut in half by the top of the frame and the bottom half of the frame cuts off the punchline on her tattoo. This picture makes me feel that if I was looking at this through my view finder I should take two steps back and recompose. She has a wonderful spontaneous smile which, to me, is the obvious focal point of this image and clearly what made you push the button, tight crop or no.

They are very interesting pictures, they just don't pack the same Oomf of your first. Hope this helps as it's meant to be constructive criticism.
    Cheers,
