    Tahoe Morning

Here's a shot from a recent trip to Lake Tahoe. I took it in the morning when the sun was just coming over the eastern edge of the Sierra. I have another from late afternoon, but the water was much rougher and didn't have the reflections.

What do you guys think? I welcome the feedback so that I can get better.

    Thanks!

Looks pretty good as far as I can see (the small images on this site make seeing details tough) although there really isn't anything interesting in the foreground to add depth.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Impressive wrt to the lighting, color, and overall mood. I do agree that it could be even stronger with a better subject in the foreground -- that big rock, if only it was a rowboat ...

    Re: Tahoe Morning

jgredline, MD, & GB - thanks for the comments. I have other versions that have less brush in the foreground - do you think that would help? I would agree that a rowboat or something would be useful, but it would have to be a pretty big boat to make an impact. The boulder in the foreground is actually very large. I was further up then it looks.

    Any concerns with the shadows?

The shadows look great to me PC. It's really a remarkable shot even without the missin' rowboat!
