    Hi,
    Both pics have good control of DOF and good combination of colours. The first picture has a unique composition of lines but the visual impact is not strong.

    Thank you all! Yes Yoyo, I didn't quite get what I wanted with the first one. I think I was worrying too much about whether the extremely shallow DOF was too shallow. Perhaps if I reframed it so that the flower was only in the far right corner? I'll have to see.

    as you have seen im a man of micro, i know my stuff anywayz i like the flower pictures alot i would buy the first one, the first one reminds me of the pic i took 1 week ago and havent gotten developed yet is a little green ripe strawberry with i placed on a red shinny fence top post, it will look similar i bet but different colors nice job
