    The dark bordered paper behind her head should be removed in PS if possible.

    I've been programmed in "rule of thirds" so I've been debating to myself all day if this picture is exempt from it. I still don't have an answer.

    She is a great subject and I love her expression.

    It would've been fun to create a composition where you can exploit the stripes on her outfit complemented by the stripes on the pool chair.

    I think the semi-busy background is what is keeping me from totally loving this shot.

    I still want to be your apprentice.....do you have a meal plan?

    Good photo. I think manacsa makes some great points that I didn't catch when I looked at the photo the first time. The girl just popped out more to me. The smile, the goggles, and the hair draw my attention away from everything else. Especially the goggles. I love the tack board in the back but I agree with manacsa: get rid of the border behind her head. The rest of the background is not at all distracting for me because there is so much going on with her face that draws you to the center of the photo.
