Sunset, what I saw, and what my camera saw.

What drew me to this one was what I saw through my sunglasses, so I did my best to "correct" it in fireworks to show what I saw through my sunglasses, the first is the original, the second is what I saw through my goldish/orangish tinted sunglasses.

The second one's smaller because compressing it would mess it up, and because of the certain pattern of pixel colors or something, it was too big as 600 pixels wide.

Re: Sunset, what I saw, and what my camera saw.

On my honeymoon in 1987, armed with my little Kodak p&s, I took a picture of a sunset THROUGH my sunglasses. Just held the lens behind the glasses and shot. It turned out beautifully!

They were literally rose-colored sunglasses that I was wearing, too. The world really does look better through rose-colored glasses!

oh not always, sometimes they just make things look too hot...usually I prefer my gray tinted sunglasses because they make everything just look sharp and real, kind of like HD sunglasses, I've tried to take pictures through my sunglasses quite a bit too...but I think I'll buy filters instead...however it did work today, but I cant find which one I used sunglasses in, usually my sunglasses are too scratched to use as "filters" but it would have worked today, because these ones are new... :P

I have done that before too! I was using a Canon P&S and shot thru my sunglasses. My own little make shift polarizer.

Nice sunset Mr. Yuck. That cloud formation gives it an interesting touch, and the golden light relaxes my eyes. Good capture.

lol, i tried taking a picture of the ocean mist through my glasses because they where kinda dirty from the beach and it made everything look hazzy and cool. doenst work as well... something about perscription glasses ;). but i do like you're picture and honestly if i had only looked at the color corrected one, i would never be able to tell that it was messed with.
