    Sunset in the Weeds...

Here's a shot that I really like, but I'm having a hard time with the framing. Does this work? I welcome all input for or against.

    Thanks,

It works very well, IMHO. I wouldn't change a thing wrt the framing.

The frame distracts from a great photo, imho.

Great photo. While the frame idea I like, I think it would be better suited on a different shot. For such a tranquil, peaceful capture, the frame just seems distracting.

PC.....I too like it without the frame. Somehow it detracts from the colors and the mood. JMHO.

Hmmmm. Better to opt for nothing or a simple, thin black border?

A simple, thin black gets my vote

    Re: Sunset in the Weeds...

It's a lovely image and doesn't need anything except the keyline around the outside. The inner keyline distracts in my view - I found myself looking at that instead of the sillhouette and lovely rich golden colours. Some images don't need any extra help!

    Cheers

I can see where some folks might not like the keyline, but I really feel that it adds a contempuary effect. Try posting an image w/o the lines so we can compare.

    GB,

Sounds like a good idea. I'll post something to compare with later today when I get home.

looks good to me. I like the frame. I originally saw this on flickr last night and liked it right away.
