    Sunset - Try 2

    Hello all,
I took some of the advice from the last set of sunset pictures. How about these?

    Re: Sunset - Try 2

Image number two of the corn fields i love, nice silouettes produced - well done, it drew me in instantly. The first shot although nice doesn't draw me in as much as there isn't really a story behind it. what i mean by this is that the 2nd photo tells me a story, and i can imagine myself sitting behind the lens taking it as you did. I'd probably crop the top part of the first one to make the buildings more ofa focal point, probably to the top of the 2nd set of clouds from the top. Try it and repost!! Just a suggestion..
All in all, keep shooting - as i want to see more !!!!

Ahh i did mean to the top of the second cloud from the top, but this one works just as well. Try to the top of the 2nd one for us and you'll see what i mean

Thanks for the suggestion. The first one had an attenna right in the middle and I could not crop around it. Last night I messed with the image some more and edited it out. Here is the image.

Hey Denny - The bottom shot is great, sort of a dreamy vista. I only wish somehow that it was wider, which of course would take a camera that shoots panoramic shots. The colors are excellant, sort of a combo of cold and warm. The first shot isn't bad, but doesn't have enough interesting objects to make it last. The crop is Ok but doesn't help it enough for it to be a keeper (btw - watch the jadged edges there) - the bottom shot is much more powerful..

I definatly like the second shot better. To me the first shot could have been better as a horizontal shot instead of vertical.
