    Sunset on top of the world...

    My boys and I drove to the top of one of the big mounds of rock we have around here. I captured this atop a 1500 ft mountain looking due west towards the ocean. Is their a way I could have made this shot stand out more? I love the colors it just seems kind of blah to me.

    Nice shot, part of me wants to see the end of the clouds at the top of the image. In a way those clouds distract from the sunset. Thats just my .02

    I'd lower the horizon by cropping a bit off the bottom (1/3d's rule), nice capture, well done. S

    hello raven, the pic is so nice, so scenic but it could have better if taken little close to sun.

    I agree with shootme about not centering the shot maybe even putting the sun in the left third of the frame. Also you could have used an ND grad to bring out some detail in the lower portion of the image.

    I think it might be the cloud going straight acroos the sky that I don't like. I tried cropping it to the left, But it still doesn't do anything for me. What is a ND grad?
