    Talking Sunset in Seattle

This is one of the best sunset pictures I have ever taken. I really want to get some input on what to do better. I used a Nikon Coolpix L18 in scene mode (evening landscape). I did a little editing in camera raw (my first time using that). Please give it a once over and feel free to edit it in photoshop if you wish.

    nice colors!

myself i would crop out half of the water! so that way the horizon doesn't split the photo right in half ;)

You have some nice colours there. I really like this photo.

One suggestion I will make is to remember your rule of thirds.

Be sure to post up plenty of more pictures

    Great colors indeed.

I agree with rylan about the crop and it there was a sailboat in there somewhere that would give some depth to the image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

The colors are nice, and it's not bad. I think you went a little too far in editing. Perhaps a ltittle too much saturation as opposed to increasing contrast to get the colors to pop. There are halos forming around the edges of the mountains/hills.It also looks lighter than it should for a sunset at this time.
A crop here would be good as suggested, but you could go either way, from top or bottom.
    Not bad
please do not edit and repost my photos
