    Sunset on the Marsh

    the clouds rolled in right before sunset... grrr.... oh well, will be trying every night until I get it right....

    Lately, clouds have not been friendly to me either

    I would have held out longer, I don't know if it would have helped or not, but it may have deepened the colors. The foreground is pretty dark, a gnd filter would have helped here.

    I waited until all the light was gone in the sky, I was there for about half an hour - 45 minutes.

    i'd just prefer some more color on the horizon I guess. I have a specific shot in mind, but weather doesn't like to cooperate. Wispy clouds are one thing, and perfect. Thick clouds that block out pretty colors are a totally different thing :-P

    IMHO the strip of land to the left would have been too thin without the clouds. They kinda' balance it out and give it a sense of motion. At least to me anyway. I like it.
