    Sunset Bikeride

We took our scouts on a bike night this evening at Lake Mead. They did great considering the 30mph wind and nearly 100 degree temp. But as i was exploring a little off the main trail I came back around to get this view of the scouts against the sunset. If I would have had time I would have loved to get a slightly lower position in order to catch them against the sky.

Can you open up the shadows a bit? It is a great image and composition but the riders are just too dark/hidden on my monitor.
    No, I DON'T need that.

A lovely image, and I like the fact that the sun isn't too hot.

Yeah, I shot it is raw and there is an amazing amount of information available. I'll play with it some more when I get a little time. I did goof with it a little, but it got pretty busy when I lightened it up. I'll have to do some masking and then lighten it selectively so I don't blow out the sky or make the foreground too distracting.

Okay, here is a slightly tweeked shot. I lightened the shadows a little bit and increased the vibrance.
