    Sunset

    I'm finally getting into photography more. This is my first real attempt at capturing a sunset. I would love your comments.

    I think it is too monochrome and the highlights are way blown out plus the shoreline cuts the photo in half. Croping from the bottom to remove the second reflection is worth doing and will improve the shape of the image but won't do anything for the color.

    Thanks for the reply. I cropped my original and I do like the results. As far as color goes, I didn't touch it in PS, that is how the photo turned out. I have a Canon 20d and used a 100-300 lens..@ 100mm f/8 @ 1/1250 with an iso of 100. I metered off the sky next to the sun. I also shot in RAW. What could I have done differently to achieve better color?
