    Sunrise over Rome Ga.

I hate to keep bothering you with this dang clock, but I am trying to come up with some area landmark pictures for a reason and I could use your advise. I have seen a million pictures of this clock so a few more wan't hurt you. But what do you think?

It looks ok, but I think it would be alot stronger if the foreground silhouettes were much simpler, less cluttered and the clock tower a bit more defined from a better angle.
I like the yellow tint sky and the silhouettes are deep and rich. Exposure is right.

Not a bad photo at all. I think you nailed the exposure. next time maybe an HDR? the excess trees in the shot, however, detract from the main subject of the tower. Maybe its what you were aiming for, but overall not bad.

This one's OK for me, but I am not a big fan of silhouettes. The color almost seems manipulated to me, it's very mustard yellow. I wonder what this looked like about 15 minutes earlier with the clouds lit more from the bottom rather than the side. I agree with spidy that the silhouette might be more effective from a different angle, defining the tower more and losing some of the clutter.

Going to disagree and say I think the plethora of tree silhouettes only add to the impact.

Thanks EOS, Frog. I didn't do anything to the color. It's pretty much what it looked like thru the viewfinder. It was more pink and red just before this. I did use a 150mm zoom though. Since the sun was behind the tower my angles were limited. I waited to late to get the zoom on the camera to get it any sooner.
