The top photo is sharper. I think the light probably wasn't ideal here - seems a little flat. But sometimes that can make the color come out better, and it looks pretty colorful to me. Nice shot. Sunflower seeds are great so this shot gets bonus pts.
The top is indeed sharper, but I like the comp. on the second one better. This was the first time I have ever seen sunflowers. I showed these to my mother, and she went there and picked them! I did play with these in an editing program, added saturation, contrast, and bosted the highlights, and it did look a little better.
