    Sunflower

The midnightsun creating rays of light in the background. Darkened the background a bit to create contrast and to let the flowers be the main subject.

Nicely done. The flowers really do step up with the moment of lighting.Good work. This is nice.

    Re: Sunflower

How has this photo not gotten more attention? I wouldn't say the compositon is the best it could be (maybe cropping some of the right off could help) but the lighting is perfect, don't touch it. I think a crop could make this quite the photo.

Edit: on second thought the right gives the photo a real landscape feel, I would leave it as is.

Very attractive piece. I think the fg area looks like it is cut off a bit too abruptly, but i still think it is quite effective.
    Very nice work.

An unusual presentation gives a new perspective. Good shot.

Like your last shot, very very good..... you really must have some patience to get these. And know where to go to catch them. My only criticism is that the foreground flowers are not as sharp as they could be. Otherwise, nice job.

    Wow! Very dramatic and effective.

I agree with Gary about the bottom being a bit too close to the flowers. I would have liked to see a little more balance vertically - the distance from the top edge to the sunlit clouds being the same distance from the bottom edge to the flowers.

The lighting is breathtaking, I cannot find the words to discribe this photo.
