    Sundial---comments welcome

    It was suggested that the previous picture of this sundial was too 'busy'. I didn't submit this before because I wasn't sure if this particular view would work. How does it stack up vs the other? (this was resampled in IrfanView)

    I think this is just a beautiful picture! No BUTs! I love the moody sky in the background and the contrast of the forsythias against the sky. The table setting area also looks attractive. And I like that the arrow of the sundial is point up and away into the clearing in the sky. I also like the zodiac details on the rim. Beautiful image John!
