    I love spider webs and I think the way you've used it to capture teh light is very pleasing to the eye. I like the way the sun has blown out the bottom portion of the web drawing my eyes into the shadowed area in their search for more detail.

    However I think it would be stronger in Portrait layout crop wise than it is as a Landscape style.

    So crop away that 60% on the left.I see what you mean.Spiders are amazing creatures aren't they? I found this lighting situation to be quite interesting.
