    Sun setting over the Pacific

    Haven't been around in a while, but would love to know what you guys think of this one.

    Love the colors
    Love the clouds and the haziness of the horizon.

    The only knit I have are the palms on the beach.........they pull my eye away from the meat of the picture. But it's a knit.

    Great capture as usual.

    Great capture it all came together great composition. Oh I'm going to steal MB1's line only thing it would have been better if taken in Europe

    Very nice Doc. I do think you could crop most of the darker clouds out at the top putting the horizon a little more closer to the upper third.

    Here is what is wrong with this one;
    1) The horizon is way too close to the center of the frame.
    2) No foreground interest.
    3) The parking lot at the bottom of the frame is cut off at an odd angle.
    4) It is not printed really large and hanging on my living room wall.


    Sometimes you just have to break the rules.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    The Only problem I see in it, There are no boats doing any fishing.

    Other than that looks perfect.

    Agree with clouds crop,it would take nothing away from a great shot !

    my only problem with it is I would have took the picture a little more towards the left
