Nothing casual about this one. It is about a perfect composition.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Sun Racer

thx MB!!..Its a crop off a fisheye and I have tried to use the rules I've learned here the last year regarding composition..even though its not straight from the camera. I appreciate the feedback.

    Re: Sun Racer

It's a great shot .. especially when you consider that you managed to get an "into the sun" shot while still keeping a little detail in the pilot ((if that's what you call them!). Not easy, but you pulled it off. The splash of colour of the canopy makes it too.

    Cheers

    Re: Sun Racer

Thank you Tyson and Mike. It was still a bit early..09:00ish and the fisheye might have helped with the sun.

    Re: Sun Racer

Fantastic colours and very well composed, it does make you wish you were up there. I think that the sun is particularly well caught and would be interested to learn how a fisheye helps to achieve this result, also, just out of interest, was the crop a significant one? I wouldn't have guessed that a fisheye lens had been used at all looking at the posted image.

    Re: Sun Racer

Thank you for the resurrection Rick! Thx Herriot, as you can see it was fairly early and the sun had not blown out completly..I'm guesiing the 180 deg view of fisheye helped with the sunrays..?..Anyway heres original..(hate to reveal the mystery)
