    Sun Beam Cleaners

A couple of 10mm shots with a circ.polarizing filter.I liked the dramatic sky as an idea, but found it difficult to expose this evenly.Hot areas... dark areas...Could use some work.I would love to see these in better shape. Are they worthy of further post work? Advice. My PS skills are limited. I'm here to learn

    Re: Sun Beam Cleaners

Good sky. I like its dramatic feel and contrast, but I think the problem with that is that the foreground shapes aren't exciting enough for that type photo. I do like the Cleaners sign, but if it were a drive-in movie screen or something like that I think it would work better.

Other than to use a graduated ND filter on the upper half, there's no other way to handle extreme contrast scenes like this. I've found toning down the contrast in PS or whatever just dulls up the photo. I guess the idea is to use the extreme contrast to your advantage.

    The foreground is boring...I agree.
