    Nice images you have here.

My Favourites are 2, 4 and 5 with #4 taking top prize. I love the serenity in the image. The only thing I don't like about it is that everything draws my eyes to the middle of the image. (most likely what you were trying for) If a bit of the blown out sky at the top was cropped out I think it would make the image just that much stronger in the end.

    Too many to critique properly

But I like all except the last Banff, that one is a little bit washed out for my taste and needs a bit of a boost.

The face, landscape, dragonfly, and the lake are lovely, perhaps a tad more light on the face could improve it.

I am in agreement with Roger on this one Davers, the first four images grab my attention a lot more than the final mountain image.

Excellent sky and colours in your 'Stettler Harvest' image, would love to see a large version of this, really dramatic and peaceful at the same time.

    Thanks for sharing

Stettler is my favorite. I really like the clouds, they give such definition to the shot.

Hello akademiks. These are very good, but there are too many here for each to be given the time for a proper critique. Please have a look at the Critique forum guide lines.

#4 is my favorite. The shadow effect of the trees really bring out the picture to me.

    Re: Summer 2006 pics

    # 1, the pic of the young woman, is my favorite. I guess I've seen so many nature and landscape shots that I've gravitating more towards people shots.

    # 1's a very moody. I can't tell if she is supposed to look depressed or what? I like the simplicity of the photo however, seems she is very isolated, allowing her to think. This is also exactly where B&W works best.

    # 3, 4, and 5 are all nice shots. I tend to like # 3 the best but would crop out a little of the field and leave just enough to show that there is one there. That would really bring out the big sky! # 5 is good also but a tad flat. # 4 has great contrast.

    Hi

Thanks for all the comments, To view the larger image, click on the url above the picture, and it will direct you to the fullsize image.

    Thanks very much.

#4 is also my favorite, Stetler has so much detail and elements in the picture, the larger one is really good, but I am working on improving the Lake, I'll post it when I am finished.
