Sugar Cane, More From Maui With My Holga...

Sugar cane is EVERYWHERE in Hawaii, it's one of it's top cash crops.
The light in Hawaii is incredible! So as I drove around Maui I thought I would do a photograph of some sugar cane.
This is what I came away with.

Brian....good capture. You know, there's something to be said for a cheap plastic camera. I think I'm gonna look around town to see if I can find a Holga somewhere. Digital is great, but every now and then it must be fun to just get out there and blast away. Keep 'em coming.

Definitely a different effect... Looks like a throwback photo to another era.

This is a photo where chromatic aberration, lens flare, and vignetting actually accentuate the photo. I still think you found some of the best cheap camera lens I've seen. Good job.

Watch out for those 'cash' crops in Hawaii. Some are pretty addictive. Then again maybe you're not a coffee drinker.
