    The Subway

It was taken on a very overcast and cold morning in Melbourne. I was over there for the week and had the opportunity to take some photo's. I'll be posting a fair few over the next coming days. Here is just one.

    Cheers

I like this one a lot! The large DoF works well and it's early enough that the lights are still on, which adds some interest. Nice perspective and framing.

I like the composition but feel it needs more of a human element. For one there is the top of someones head at the lower part of the frame. It would have worked better to if the guy across the street was more in front of the gated stairway maybe giving it a bit of mystery. You probably could bump him over in PS and clone the head.

Good eye Greg, i didn't even notice the guy's head till u mentioned it.
I like the perspective here. but I feel i need either more of the subway entrance or less. I think it's stuck somewhere in the middle how much you gave us. to nit pick a little more the sign on the top left with the S is bugging me because i wanna know what it was.

Nice, boosting the contrast will make it pop alittle more. If you shot raw, try and recover the shadows in the subway sign.
