    Strolling through Old Jerusalem

Here's another shot from a previous trip to Jerusalem. What do you guys think? I also tried this in black and white which has a slightly different feel, and I can post that if interested.

PC - I can see the potential. This one's lighting is a little blown out, seems that some detail's been lost. Try posting the B&W and let's compare them. I wish there was more than one person in the shot btw, or perhaps that he was closer? Any more shots of there?

Unfortunately the original image was taken in JPG and I don't think the blown out area is recoverable. There wasn't much available light and the next pictures I had where he was closer are too blurry. Here's a couple more where I was trying something similar. All were hand-held and all were around 1/4s exposure so they're not as clear as I would like. I also don't like the air conditioners and wires hanging around, but I haven't had the patience to clone everything out.

    Re: Strolling through Old Jerusalem

I like the second pic on the second posting. It's well lit and shows the unique architecture of the city. I wouldn't mind going there myself one of these days to catch some shots. The AC is a tad distracting but I think the shot is mysterious cause you can't see the guy's face. I wonder if they designed the steps to angle like that for the water to run off, or, more than likely they sank over time.

I like the 1st pic..my personal opinion would be to crop some off the top...which i think brings more of the light brick and color into the picture.
