Although the image isn't very sharp, i like the fact that you also use images that most other people would simply discard, and do something with them to make it into a producable effect. Good job
"The views i express are my own words and feelings, and are not meant to distress, but only to visage anothers reality"
I like the composition and the colors but I'd prefer this shot either sharp or slightly more blurry than it is now. The mood is interesting but I am not too sure if the blur is intentional or accidental as it currently stands.
Yeah, I am also interested if this was intentional or blur by misadventure. It's interesting either way, but I wish the sky was darker... What do you think of this adjustment? (I know, it is pretty odd...).
PoloPaul - thanks, I keep experimenting with things to see how they turn out, Thank God for Digital
Denny, Seb, GB - The blur was intentional. This was taken with my Fujifilm 4700zoom on night scene setting and so had limited time for taking the photo. I took about 3 shots, the first 2 I missed the jiggle completely, and this was the 3rd where I just got the jiggle in. So I am standing on waterloo bridge with the camera sitting on a parapet, when I think the time is nearly up I give it a jiggle - trouble is I didn't know how long the nightscene set the time for. I now know is about 2.1seconds. Got some funny comments and looks from passers by.
Seb - I was hoping for more of a blur but I quite like the result.
I was going for the busy look if that makes sense.
GB - I had thought about messing with the sky but decided to leave it alone. This is as it came out of the camera with a small level change and crop to get rid of dead space at the bottom. I quite like the way the black makes a big difference to the picture so i may have a play with it soon.
Thanks
Roger
