    street shot - color or B&W?

    Not sure which makes the stronger statement...

    I think the b/w is stronger. In the color one the colors are so saturated they detract from the image for me.
    Its a very strong image. I do wish you had a bit more on the left.

    Definately black and white for me. Its a powerful shot, but I do agree a little more room on the left would have helped. I always thought that reportage scenes such as this where the setting is grim is more striking in mono. Bresson, I believe, was a master in this type of work.

    I think the B&W works better for me as well. Nice shot.

    B&W definitely adds to the grim feeling of the shot.

    Really appreciate all the feedback. I almost didn't take the shot at all, was leaving the studio and walked past on the way to where the truck was parked. Thought about it for a bit and then turned around and went back. This *is* the Miami you rarely see on TV.
