    Stream flow

Shot @ Sierra de Quila - national park - 90 min drive from Guadalajara.

It was a steep slippery hike but quite worth it!

First results with a ND filter , nd8 in this case,
    4 sec exposure
    F11
    Iso 100

Took a number of other shots , a few blurry ones (darn cheap tripod!) and a few with to much water on the lens, this is quite close to a large water fall, it was quite windy and had a lot of water spray all over the place.

The filter was very cheap, got it with a cokin P system holder, it produces a reddish tint, which if not stacked is fairly easy to correct, but, stacking 3 filters I shot a fountain in the city, and even after spending a lot of time trying to correct the colors still look funny.

For this shot I used the filter sideways so there is no vignette even at 11mm, good thing it is a solid ND!

Pretty nice. I always like these long stream exposures.

I like this shot. The water has a real nice soft 'feel' to it. The streak of red on the left hand side of the rock has good visual interest. Nice capture.

Wow I love this photo. The surrounding landscape compliments the stream while the stream provides an excellent point of interest.

Armando. Great implantation of the blur. I don't think you could have selected the SS any better. My only wish is if the general background was more harmonious / less cluttered, so that it would better fit with the soft, curvy stream. (I know .. you can't have everything. Someones a spot like that just isn't there no matter how many angles you try.) The colors are subdued but powerful.
