This is a stray cat that came to our cabin almost everyday while my family and I were on vacation. I personally like the shot (probably because I took it haha), but the pros over at photo.net told me this shot was no different than the other thousands of cat shots, what do you guys think?

You have the eyes very good. I wish you hadn't chopped the ears and whiskers off.

I followed this cat around for 15 minutes trying to get a shot, but it just didn't want to cooperate haha. I should have zoomed out a bit more to get the ears and whiskers in the shot though, wish I had thought of that.

Lesson #2 Keep doing what you are doing.

Nice focus and exposure, I'm thinking the cats head is a bit too much in the center of the frame but a crop from the left would take care of that... perhaps get rid of the entire right ear.
