    Arrow Stormy waterfall

Hello all! I am a newbie to this site finally getting the courage to post my work. I thank you in advance for your help and critique (good & bad).

Here's an image from yesterday that I took a day after a tremondous storm we had here in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (NE Ohio). This is Bridal Veil Falls. Minor color adjustments in PS CS3. Enjoy.

Now... let's see how I do on attaching the photo.... Thanks for your patience on my first post. Cat -

    Re: Stormy waterfall

welcome and very nice composition. Your water looks very nice with the speed. You might want to move to the left and offset those boulders more, perhaps a little tighter, lower.. this will allow you to expose the background and shadows more and not completly blow out the brighter boulders.
Please ask to edit photos and I'll do the same!
    Thx, Rod

Thank you for your reply! Here are two variations of this shot that you may prefer for comparison. Cat-

The first image of this set is the one for me.

It has a lot more waterfall and less foreground. Although I do wish you had turned the camera 90 degrees to portrait format to get more of the falls in a less of the not as interesting cliff.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Stormy waterfall

Thank you all for your replies. I do have other full falls images and I do like how they turned out but they are very cliche, if you know the waterfall. I was taking it to a new perspective with these from below the falls and horizonal framed. Thanks for your critques! Cat
