Don - the bottom two, did you take from a plane? (I assume so) The middle one's cloud looks alive, very strange The top one has potential, but needs attention to the technical details, for it seems tilted, has unflattering foreground objects and composition and also looks like you included something in the very bottom of the frame. They are a very artsy group of images.

Where in Iowa were you? My town got some bad flooding and some near misses on the tornados. My mom took a photo of my church with her cell phone that I wish I could have taken with a real camera but I was stuck in the basement with my kiddos.
The clouds in the top photo are very interesting - but the foreground stuff distracts from them. The other two are very prettty - but some cropping might help. I personally would try taking the dark sky off the top of the bottom one.
I love the first one.........That feeling of just arriving to or leaving the hotel..... ominous clouds rolling in.............That last glint of the sun on the edge of the building. The use of the ulta wide angle adding to it..........HURRY, I think it's starting to rain.....I can feel it

Congrats! Great work! Especially the p3, appears like it is going back "underwater" toward earth to swallow it up. I'm a sucker for an airplane window seat with a great view of the clouds. Bravo!
Thanks guys. Actually the sun was low in the sky--accounting for the orange tint. The colors are reasonably accurate. The advantage of the bus is thatit provides a blind--like a duck blind for capturing people. The plane window is the only way one can take photos of clouds without being an angel. The thing is completely different (lol).
