Full of foreboding atmosphere and well produced. Composition wise I have to say that that umbrella thingy is badly needed as otherwise we would only have the horizontal line of boardwalk. A good shot nonetheless.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
It has potential. I think this is a situation where a little color could spice it up though.
Below's a quick expt to see... I added a little green to the sky and increased its contrast. I also added a little blue to the foreground water. I'm not sure if it's better, just different.
Juzzus, I like this straight like it is. I must say good work on the sky, you most likely pulled out as much as you could from it. Tom make an interesting point about the "umbrella". It's definately a key point here.
No offense GB, but I disagree with your inclusion of colors. I much prefer the simplicity of a purely b&w picture in this case.
Thanks GB1 , Seb and jar_e ....
Thanks for taking the effort to show me something different GB1, appreciated but i guess i've an old fashion mind when comes to monochrome photography .. stil prefer the origin than the colored one , hahaha ;)
