    Stop Looking At My Butt!

Man you got a dirty mind! Yes, it's a bird. What did you think you would find?

All joking aside, I really wasn't sure what I should do with cropping on this one. Should I go in tighter on this?

Very nice pic and very sharp. Maybe crop equal amounts from left and right leaving the bird on the rhs.
I like the sound it makes when I press the shutter release button.

Thanks guys I came up on him on the other side, so I was originally shooting into the sun. As I walked around to the other side, so I could have the sun at my back, he kept turning, keeping his butt pointed at me...LOL He was a good sport though and sat there for a bit and let me snap away.

Aaron....the crop seems ok to me, and Tyson's suggestion about the out of place feather is a good one. I like it.

I don't know about photoshopping the feather. I mean would you enahnce a Playboy model? Well, I guess you would....

The picture seems a little too dark overall - might just be me.

I agree. It's almost like an optical illusion for me.... almost as if I'm looking head-on at the bird not him looking back at me.

Then again, it IS a pretty cool effect. Am I the only one who sees it?

Nope, that's why I chose this one out of the 50 or so I shot of this guy. Was wondering if anyone would see that. The darkening is mostly just due to my personal taste but, it also seemed to help bring out the effect more so I went a little more than I normally would.

In that case, the shot is perfect! A natural optical illusion. Very cool.
