this is a portrait of my puppy, Dexter....he has been a hot subject for me since I've had him, and this is my favorite shot by far. The only thing that bothers me is the flash glare off the books in the background. Thoughts welcome...

Smart dog. lol.

The context is a bit weird. Looks like a lawyer type shot with books in the bg. but it's a dog. as far as technicalities are concerned, I woul'dve like a bit less dof so that the background can get toned down through the bluring. that would've emphasized the dog much more. There's also a shadow right below his right ear that draws my attention too much.
