    Still shooting from the hip.

Just shot this hawk with my Sony DSC H50. 500 shutter ISO auto hand held.
Shot in "bracket" mode 3 at once. Don't know which order these are in. I can see the second looks overexposed to me.
But what other suggestions for improvement beside "TRIPOD"
First one I cropped - sharpened in Irfan
Second cropped Adobe PS elements 2.0

First seems to have the better exposure, and second has the better saturation. You might try placing #2 on top of #1 as a second layer and set the blend mode to overlay so the detail of the first shot shows through. These both seem to be a tad oversharpened as well.

Thank you jetrim , I am having a little trouble with "layers" I thought I had them created but have not been able to lay them on top of each other.

It did look like I had improved a little while trying different adjustment, so I just saved it.

I'll try again later. Right now my wife's cancer "numbers" have started to rise again and she just finished a 3 day (new) chemo treatment.

Good use on the rule of thirds! Love the photo! Keep shooting.
