    Still life

Well, don't know if it qualifies for still life, but here it is...

Great portrait Payn817 with the right frame it would be one to hang on your wall
My only critique here is that theres something on the right top of the vase , just may be something on your lens but there sure is something there.

Thanks Knight. The object you are seeing is a shaft of light.

Wow, it looks like a painting! Good job. I just wish the blue light wasn't there.

    Re: Still life

I like the comp with the vase on the right side and the flower leaning to the left. I can see a little crease in the bg on the left that adds depth to the poto.
I don't like that the flower is so bright that there is very little detail in it. That leaves the the leaf and the vase more as the main subject.
I would like to see more space below the vase, at least half as much space below the vase as above the flower.
    I do like it.
    My thoughts,
    Mark.

Thank you all for your input.

MDMC, really appreciate the advice. This is in my home "studio", and can be reshot. I will definately use your suggestions.
