Sweet ride. At first I thought it was my home province's (ontario) flag, but it's gotta be something British.
As for the photo, I think it conveys the feeling it's trying to. I really love how low that boat is. seems a tiny bit above water level. Must be a very calm lake.

This is the Beauliue River in the UK a favourite haunt of mine when sailing and the flag is the Red Ensign (or commonly called the Red Duster) carried by British Registered Vessels.
This was taken off the stern of my boat which was moored in the river. There was a festival taking place and there were about 6 of these vessels cruising the river.
