    Steam

Snapped this while on a trip to NYC last week. This was in the fish district, in an area that was hit pretty hard by Sandy, and essentially still abandoned.

    Re: Steam

Initially the leaning in buildings troubled me a bit, but on reflection I think they add to the mood and narrative of this scene. I find I like it more each time I view it.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

Great urban shot. Not really a fan of the yellow tone, but the claustrophobia of the leaned in buildings is great I think.

    Re: Steam

Steam adds a nice atmospheric touch. A person walking out of the steam would have provided the extra element I feel it is missing.

    Re: Steam

Looks like just after an explosion. All you need are some dazed people and a few bodies laying on the ground The color gives it an interesting vintage feeling. I think it works pretty well.

I really like the processing on this photo. It provides a nice atmosphere.
