    I think it needs some of the bark texture to be more apparent , looks a bit dark as is.

    Nature is good for providing natural contract. Left of the tree looks a bit washed out. Suggest it might have a bit more punch is shots were bracketed and processed as HDR.

    Composition is excellent, nothing is clipped (darks or lights), color looks very natural.

    If it were mine, I'd probably try to bring up the bark just a bit to reveal more detail (maybe duplicate the layer, mask out everything but the trunk, switch the top layer to "screen" blend mode, and lower the opacity to 20-30% OR try just a high pass on the trunk at a radius of 3-4 px, it may bring it up enough)
