Stars And Stripes Against The Sky

Ok, I'll probably get railed for this, but I took this shot this afternoon, and yes, I know....the flagpole is tilted. Straightening would cut the flag off at the bottom, and I liked the contrail of the plane above, so here it is.

Good clean shot cept for the contrail. I'd personally clone it outta there. The shape of the flag at that moment is really nice, imo...

Like GB1 I have no problem with the shape of the flag. The tilt adds to the dynamic of the shot, which is very clean. However, I also would tend to clone out the aircraft - it isn't big enough to be a feature and draws the eye a little from your main subject.

    John,

I would saturate the flag more to make it pop. For me it seems to blend with a background sky if you know what I mean.

I'm not into flags unless there's a Red Dragon on it.

I also like the tilt; it gives it a fresh look. Flag did a nice job of posing too. Nice Flag Picture.
