Stalks in the Moonlight

Similiar to one i posted a bit back. This is double exposure, Kodak UC 400.
How does this work for you?

That is just plain very very nice. I do not have a critique. Only praise. I just like how the moon glow (and cloud detail) connect the stalks and moon.

But, I am interested in your double exposure sequence/technique with this shot though. However, don't feel obligated to elaborate if don't want to give away some of your trade secrets.

I like it very much! I love the definition in the seeds and stalks and the misty moon works great!

This is ever so nice Gary and it is a great moon with a tormented sky. There is an air of an aftermath here.Very nice light on the top stalk too. I'm not too sure about the little bit of stalk in the bottom left corner but you obviously choose to keep it there.

(By looking at your photgraphic achievement I think that we photographer should, from time to time, go back to double exposures and forget about Photoshop.)

Thanks all, for the comments. I am very pleased to hear the positive responses on this.
Tim, as for the double exposing on this particuliar shot I used my 28-75 lens. The moon was the first exposure at about 70mm. It is important to either spot meter on the moon itself,( best method} or if using a matrix or evaluative meter, underexpose by at least 3-4 stops from the cameras offered setting. This is to expose the moon correctly and avoid blowouts. These numbers will differ greatly depending on how much moon you fill the frame with, and how light or dark the sky is. The second exposure (same frame of film, of course. . .double exposure) was at about 35mm, placing the stalks in the frame under where i had exposed the moon but not including the moon . This for me, is alot of trial and error as it took many takes to get the outcome desired.
