    Stained glass woes

I attended a wedding Saturday in a very nice old church which had small stained glass windows and some very interesting lights hanging down from the ceiling.
I snapped a few pics and this one I liked the best but I'm not sure what adjustments need to be done, if any, to really make the photo stand out :mad2:

I like the luminosity and the colors. For me the crop is a bit off as the top of the lamp on the right is cut off

Unfortunately there is no crop, this is the raw unedited untouched image.

You can extend your canvas upwards to give the lamp a little more room.

I would also crop or clone whatever is lit a little on the left, giving the window and lamp more isolation.

Yep, I understand about this being the only image. Lots of critique I have received here is about how to shoot an image, I really don't want to shoot again. I guess you just have to incorporate it as well as you can into future shoots. I am not very good at that. I forget it all...

    Re: Stained glass woes

maybe a closer crop of the top right corner to reduce the amount of black empty space...

also wish it included more of the lamp, it takes real care to see the image in the viewfinder and recompose, it has to be a conscious effort, at least for me

also many times i find that the last photo of a session with a particular subject, the one where i pay little attention, and just snap it, is the one that I end up liking the most

I definetly like this, they are right though, i think it would appear better if it was cropped.
