Re: Spruce tree - take 2

hmm, I think I would have zoomed in closer to the tips area of the branch to bring closer the snow resting on it and the shadow on the ground, or, zoomed out to get more of the Spruce and surroundings. As it is now it feels too in between, if this makes any sense.
Do you have any other compositions from this subject?

The original picture is slightly zoomed out but not that much. I cropped the left side of the picture. I guess it is back to the drawing board for me on this one. !!!

I love this one overall. I think the composition is good and the contrast is excellent. If it were me, I'd just PS out the little twiggy in the lower right corner and the darkish shadows near the top. I think the image would look cleaner that way.

I think the contrast is good but I also agree with Gary about it being in between something.
I tried cropping and flipping but it didn't help.

I think it's great except for the very bright area in the background. If only it were dark.... ah what a shot!

Keep those snowshoes out and the camera handy - I would be out all the time in the weather for opportunities like this.. really pretty.

I am not very good yet at editing (removing twigs or change shadows?) but thank you all for your comments.
