    Spring Dreamin'

    I do take pics of non flowers.
    I know, I know, hard to believe.
    I was going for something minimalist on this.

    I like the sharp focus on the profile but I sure wish the head wasn't in the center of the frame.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I agree with MB1 about wishing the head wasn't in the center. I wonder if an 8x10 crop might work for this.

    Honestly, I love this shot. Head centered doesn't bother me a bit even if it's "against the rules". the subtle rim light on the chin and shoulder looks great and the minimal background works very well. Great shot :thumbsup:

    Very strong geometry here. A little soft, but I like the stance of the cat and the way he seems to be focusing on something just before he strikes. Very dramatic. The background could be better but that's easily corrected.

    Thanks for the comments.
    I like this shot for it's simplicity.
    Here's a cyanotype with a tighter crop.
    I think it loses to much sharpness.
