    Spring is Coming part 2

Well it's been six days from my first attempt on this, and they are growing good.

I'm sorry for the soft focus as I did this from free hand and not from a tripod.
I wasn't too concerned on a sharp focus, as I'm trying to learn a new camera for a wedding that is coming up in May.
I borrowed my friends Nikon D200 and he only uses a 18-200mm lens
Feel Free to edit my photos, However please explain what you did to them.

I like this one more than your other one simply because the background is a lot better than the dark one you posted a while back. I see you already see the softness in this which could be sharper. one thing that bugs me is the leaf in the bottom left. it breaks the nice green BG.

but overall much better than the 1st and heading in the right direction.

I don't think the issue is "soft focus" - the stalks are pretty sharp - rather the focus is not where it would have the best impact.

I would have positioned myself so that the shallow DOF would capture both pink tips in the same plane and rendered everything else OOF.

    What's a Loupe for anyway?
